If you can donate one hour per week, you can change a life by helping a child build a solid foundation of values, establish goals, improve their academic and life skills, while developing their self-esteem and confidence.     Being a Part of the Solution

    The Take Stock in Children scholars have had a banner year. Look at what they have accomplished.

    Congratulations to Charlotte High senior, Samantha Tipton, for her first place win in the Congressional Art Competition with U.S. Rep. Tom Rooney of the 16th district. Here art will hang in the U.S. Capitol Building for the next year.

    Congratulations to senior Lester Cassidy and all the awards he has received: Nathonal Honor Society at LBHS and 169 community service hours.

    Not Pictured: Congratulations to senior, Kyle Potts, for being selected "King" of the NJROTC of Port Charlotte High at their year-end military ball for future naval officers and personnel in training.

    Congratulations to scholar John Cote for his induction into the Port Charlotte High Honor Society.

    Congratulations to "Take Stock in Children" senior Anthony Torres who was inducted into the Port Charlotte High School Senior Hall of Fame on March 7, 2012. Anthony was one of 40 students to receive this award.
